Coffee belt is located between the 25°N and 30°S, passes through the equator.It is so lucky that Okinawa is in the coffee belt;)
The coffee plantations need fertile soil, which is Okinawa’s soil.
Also, Okinawa’s soil has rich in calcium,magnesium and minerals by the coral that surround the island.
However, every summer, typhoons are path though Okinawa, and young coffee trees are so sensitive to wind. My coffee teacher thought me that it is better to grow in windbreaks or in the mountains.
